Privacy Policy

Last Updated: February 3, 2026

1. Introduction

AnyWaiver ("we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our website (anywaiver.com) and services. By using AnyWaiver, you agree to this policy.

2. Information We Collect

We collect information in two main categories:

A. Information You Provide to Us:

  • Account Data: Your name, email address, and business name when you sign up.
  • Payment Data: We do not store your credit card information. Payments are processed securely by Stripe, and we only store the transaction ID and subscription status.
  • Waiver Data: The content of the waivers you create and the data of the people who sign them (Name, Signature, Date, IP Address).

B. Information Collected Automatically:

  • Usage Data: Browser type, device type, and pages visited (via Google Analytics).
  • Signer Metadata: For legal validity, we automatically record the IP address, timestamp, and device information of every person who signs a waiver.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your data strictly to operate the service:

  • To Provide the Service: Storing waivers, generating PDFs, and managing your subscription.
  • Legal Validity: Recording audit trails (IP/Timestamp) to ensure waivers are legally enforceable.
  • Communication: Sending you transactional emails (e.g., "Account Limit Reached", "Invoice"). We will not sell your email to third parties.

4. Data Retention (Important)

  • Free Accounts: Waivers are stored for 30 days. After this period, they are permanently deleted to protect user privacy and manage storage.
  • Paid Accounts: Waivers are stored for the duration of your active subscription (typically up to 7 years) to serve as a legal archive.
  • Right to be Forgotten: If a signer requests deletion of their data, we will anonymize their marketing data (email) but retain the signed legal waiver as required by law for legal defense purposes (GDPR Article 17(3)(e)).

5. Sharing of Information

We do not sell your personal data. We only share data with trusted service providers necessary to run the app:

  • Stripe: For payment processing.
  • AWS / Supabase: For secure cloud hosting and database storage.
  • Google Analytics: For anonymous website usage statistics.
  • Legal Requirements: We may disclose data if required by a subpoena, court order, or legal process.

6. Cookies

We use essential cookies to keep you logged in and functional cookies to remember your preferences. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, but some features of the app may not work.

7. Security

We use industry-standard encryption (SSL/TLS) for all data in transit and at rest. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. You are responsible for keeping your password strong and confidential.

8. Children's Privacy

AnyWaiver is a business tool (B2B) and is not intended for use by children under 18. If a minor signs a waiver, it must be done with the consent of a parent or guardian as part of the business's legal process.

9. Changes to this Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or a notice on our dashboard.
